Deuteronomy 6:5-7

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart." You shall teach them dilligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up."

I am back!

Finally found myself out of a pile of rocks. We have been very busy getting rock, which turned in to boulders OUT of your yard. Trying to save $$$ and by not having to get topsoil is hard work. We have great soil, but after having removed so so so many rocks we have to fill the gaps some how.... I think we will end up getting top soil anyway. Oh, how I wish we were done with this summer fling. I do not like it... and I think I am becoming allergic to dirt. That is why I am in here blogging all the while my dearest hard working husband is outside cleaning out trenches. :O) Thanks HUNNY!

Not much new to report other than kids get along, then fight all day long. Play all day long in the sun and come home super tan and dirty. :O) Every few days we go to our community pool along with all the other mommies and their kids. I am constantly dealing with my disorderly DOG (she never got better in case you were wondering). And YES... we still have a few frogs, but not so many. :O) TA TA for now!!

BAD dog, BAD!

I have not posted to my blog in over a week.... I think. I have lost track of all time because it's been corrupted by a BAD DOG. We have a 12 year old Brittany Spaniel that has been DUMB from day one. I know, I know... she can't help it because I was told that when she was born she was deprived of oxygen. Let it be her excuse, but excuse me for saying ... .she is still BAD. Here is her list of bad doings: She has pooped upstairs multiple times. My daughters have found her UP on the Kitchen table. One day she got up on the table, and ate an entire BRAND NEW pack of gum (that is after she dug through my purse to find it). Confession #1... I told her I hope that she choked and died. Constantly she is sneaking food off of my kids plates. The other day I came home only to find her frothing at the mouth (appeared to be anyway) but then I noticed that she was eating pancake mix, you know that dry kind in a bag. It was caked to her fur which looked like froth. Confession #2.... I hoped she would have died from overdose of pancake mix. And now I am brought to confession #3 I keep wondering if she will get to die soon??? I know that is awful... but I can't help myself. She is just such a BAD dog! EEEK!

FROGS!!!

We have FROGGIES every where... under trampolines, in window wells, buckets of water, strollers, plastic containers, towels, tight hands, under my couch, my kitchen floor, and finally .... behind the toilet. I just named all the places my kids have had them. Mostly my daughter Abby. She is going around and calling her frog, "Sweetie" and treating it like a baby. I have to admit it's pretty CUTE. But I am afraid she may love it soooo much that she squeezes the life out of it. At night we have so many frogs the sound would be hard to explain. But let me try... maybe like electric static. It's not the croaking noise normally associated with frogs. It's a constant vibrating sound like a machine, over powering the crickets by a long shot. :O)

What a fun summer this is turning out to be! I know this post was short but "sweet" but I gotta run. Time to plant flowers!! Everyone go find a frog to squeeze, and if you have a frog shortage come on over!!

Distractions....

Have brought me to this place. I have been distracted with family time, and rodeos. A good thing right? I believe so. :O) In case you were wondering the skunk smell I believe is GONE. YIPPPPEEEE!! Now, I pray that does not happen anymore. LOL I just LOVE SUMMER TIME!!!

Duane's (my husbands) parents have been in town since Thursday night of last week. And this morning they are heading off to their next destination. It's been a great visit. We have had a lot of good quality time including, dinners together, swimming, freezing rodeo's, and a lot of game playing (fast track). But now it's back to reality. We are jumping back into our home school studies, and I have errands to run. Ruth wants to get her hair cut off into an "A Line" again. She has such a tender head that this hair-doo suits her best. :O) And it's really cute on her too.

My little Abby just gave me a baby doll to hold (she is pretending that we are neighbors). And told me that she needs to poo and when she is done she will yell, "neighbor you can wipe my butt"! I surely do not hear that every day. :O) On that note, I better go do some wiping! Till next time friends....
